Founded in 1830 to help serve the needs of educating pastors for the Lutheran Churches in the South, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary is a theological seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is located in Columbia, South Carolina. It merged with Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2012.
